IT Lead

About the role

Apply Digital seeks a senior IT Lead to act as the right‑hand to the Head of IT. This individual‑contributor role bridges day‑to‑day IT operations with global security programs, ensuring projects stay on track and nothing falls through the cracks.

Key responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Head of IT on global IT operations, projects, and security initiatives.
• Take ownership of assigned workstreams, keep them moving, and step in during absences to make operational decisions.
• Serve as the senior technical escalation point for global IT issues, providing deep, empathetic support.
• Translate strategic direction into practical execution across the team.
• Operationalize ISO/IEC 27001:2022 ISMS – maintain documentation, support audits, coordinate reviews, and drive continual improvement.
• Contribute to the rollout and ongoing management of ISO/IEC 42001 AI Management System (AIMS), including scope definition and risk handling.

Required profile

• Senior individual‑contributor with strong technical depth.
• Highly organized and comfortable working autonomously.
• Ability to cover for the Head of IT, attend meetings, and make day‑to‑day decisions.
• Excellent judgment for complex global IT operations and security challenges.

Required skills

• ISO/IEC 27001 implementation and management.
• ISO/IEC 42001 AI Management System knowledge.
• SOC 2 Type 2 compliance experience.
• IT infrastructure and operations management.
• Security program ownership and technical escalation.
