Territorial Development & Communications Internship

About the role

The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) is seeking a motivated intern to support its Division of Production, Productivity and Management. Based in Santiago, the intern will assist in the design and dissemination of communication materials that promote territorial development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft briefing notes summarising seminars, talks, conferences and published documents.
• Assist in creating flyers and visual announcements for events.
• Propose concise content for ECLAC’s social‑media channels.
• Contribute to the implementation of the communication strategy for the Productive Coordination Initiatives Platform.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or having completed the final year of a bachelor’s degree, or a graduate programme.
• Academic background in journalism, communications or a related field.
• Fluency in Spanish (mandatory) and proficiency in English and French.
