Band 5 Radiographer – NHS Fife (Kirkcaldy/Dunfermline)

About the role

Join a friendly imaging team in Fife and develop a broad skill set across plain‑film radiography, theatre imaging and fluoroscopy. You will work in both acute (A&E, minor injuries, inpatient) and outpatient settings, supporting GP clinics and the new National Treatment Centre.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality radiographic examinations across a range of modalities.
• Operate and maintain Fuji Digital rooms, Fuji and Carestream DR mobile units, and Siemens/Phillips C‑arm image intensifiers.
• Participate in out‑of‑hours and on‑call rotas, rotating between Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy (acute) and Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline (non‑acute).
• Use Carestream National PACS to archive and retrieve images.
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection‑control protocols.

Required profile

• Qualified radiographer eligible for Band 5 placement.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including out‑of‑hours duties.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
