BSAP Coordinator

About the role

The BSAP Coordinator will support the ENTS project at Minera Escondida by managing construction automation tools, ensuring data integrity and standardisation, and driving Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) execution. The role blends field‑engineering expertise with material management, safety oversight and subcontract coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain Bechtel’s construction and field‑engineering automation tools for the truck‑shop and mining‑infrastructure scope.
• Prepare construction drawings, sketches and method statements to support work planning and packaging.
• Initiate field‑purchase requisitions and produce quantity take‑offs for materials and equipment.
• Verify commodity quantities using tracking systems and ensure accurate data entry.
• Enforce zero‑accident safety philosophy and quality‑control standards across all field activities.
• Conduct technical inspections, testing and coordinate subcontractor deliverables.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field engineering within mining or large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of work planning, material management, quantity verification and safety/quality procedures.
• Ability to interpret and produce construction drawings and method documentation.
• Excellent coordination skills for interfacing with subcontractors and internal teams.
