Construction Coordinator – Concrete

About the role

Bechtel is seeking a Construction Coordinator specialized in concrete to oversee subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex mining project. The role involves close coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure that construction operations align with overall project schedules and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and organize subcontractor activities, including schedules, resource charts, and material/equipment requirements.
• Review subcontractor construction methods, manning charts, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and vendor requirements.
• Coordinate external interfaces to align construction impacts with overall project timelines.
• Enforce field policies, procedures, and work rules established by construction management.
• Support field engineers, foremen, and craft professionals in interpreting engineering and vendor documents.
