Butler – Luxury Guest Relations

About the role

The Butler is the primary point of contact for guests staying in premium suites, delivering a seamless, memorable experience. Working within the Guest Relations team, the Butler coordinates with all hotel and marine departments to anticipate and fulfill guest needs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance, inventory and functionality of assigned suites.
• Serve as the guest’s personal liaison, ensuring comfort, knowledge of amenities, ship offerings and port activities.
• Facilitate inter‑departmental communication to guarantee flawless service delivery.
• Conduct taste‑testing and quality checks of food, beverages and other services before guest consumption.
• Champion high standards and continuously improve the Retreat program.
• Share guest preferences with other Retreat areas to enhance the overall experience.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of guest‑facing service experience in a luxury environment.
• Fluent, clear and courteous spoken English.
• Well‑groomed appearance with a warm, welcoming demeanor.
• Strong emotional intelligence, conflict‑resolution skills and knowledge of food & beverage service.
• Ability to read and write English to follow procedures and communicate effectively.
