Data Analyst, Global Strategy & Planning

About the role

The Global Strategy & Planning team is looking for a Data Analyst to support Uber’s Delivery Leadership worldwide. You will work in the Data Infrastructure pod, building scalable data pipelines, dashboards and automation tools that enable fast, data‑driven decisions across operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure high‑quality data availability.
• Create automated reporting products and interactive dashboards for critical metrics.
• Collaborate with data science, engineering and Ops stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions.
• Develop data models that accelerate operations analytics.
• Build tooling and automations to streamline Ops use cases.
• Experiment with Generative AI to automate insight generation for senior audiences.

Required profile

• MSc degree or at least 2 years of experience in data analytics or analytics engineering.
• Strong SQL skills, including advanced functions such as window functions and grouping sets.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Excellent problem‑solving ability and meticulous attention to data quality.
• Effective communication of insights to both technical and non‑technical senior stakeholders.
• Fluent English.
