Director, Data Technology Consulting

About the role

We are looking for a Director of Data Technology Consulting to lead the design and implementation of enterprise data platforms that align with our clients' business objectives. This senior position combines deep technical expertise with strategic consulting to shape data strategies and deliver transformative projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data platform design and implementation, ensuring alignment with business strategies.
• Architect data frameworks such as data lakes, analytics platforms, and reporting solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Collaborate with business units, solution architects, and technical teams to translate requirements into effective data architectures.
• Advise clients on data governance, strategy, and operating models to build robust data ecosystems.
• Drive consulting engagements and presales activities, showcasing expertise in data engineering and analytics.
• Assess current data environments, identify gaps, and propose improvements in data quality, governance, and availability.
• Monitor emerging trends in AI/ML, cloud solutions, and data management.
• Support development and deployment of accelerators, blueprints, and open‑source tools for data services.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices, promoting quality‑focused development and CI/CD.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong client partnerships as a trusted advisor.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Technology Consultant, Data Architect, or similar role on enterprise data projects.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale data solutions (data lakes, analytics platforms, reporting systems).
• Strong consulting skills, stakeholder management, and ability to convey technical concepts.
• Fluent English (C1 level) – written and spoken.
