Director of Corporate Development

About the role

The Director of Corporate Development will own the organization’s inorganic growth strategy and shape its long‑term expansion. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the full acquisition lifecycle, from sourcing opportunities to post‑close integration, while also evaluating strategic alliances and major partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a disciplined pipeline of acquisition opportunities aligned with strategic priorities.
• Apply a consistent screening and scoring methodology covering strategic fit, financial returns, technology, integration complexity and risk.
• Prepare concise opportunity assessments, valuation, transaction and sensitivity models, including synergy and financing analyses.
• Coordinate cross‑functional due diligence and lead assessments of target leadership, legal and reputational risks.
• Support transaction structuring, negotiations and preparation of executive and board‑level investment materials.
• Track completed transactions against investment theses and report integration costs, realized synergies and performance variances.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate development, M&A or strategic investment roles.
• Strong analytical discipline combined with commercial judgment.
• Low‑ego, execution‑oriented mindset with ability to work autonomously.
• Experience reporting to senior finance leadership and influencing board‑level decisions.
