Local People Partner – LATAM

About the role

We are seeking a Local People Partner to join our Global People & Culture team in Santiago, Chile. The role will support the LATAM region and other assigned businesses, ensuring the right talent is in place to drive strategy and business results while fostering a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a consultative HR partner to management, participating in regional strategy and business review meetings.
• Support strategic and operational growth through HR programs, policies, and advice.
• Coordinate with HR Services and other HR Business Partners to deliver seamless processes and communications.
• Drive onboarding initiatives, including 30/60/90‑day check‑ins and issue escalation.
• Provide guidance on employee relations and performance issues to achieve solutions.
• Develop strategic resourcing plans, talent development, and succession strategies with senior leaders.
• Build and implement regional diversity, inclusion and belonging strategies, including unconscious bias mitigation.
• Lead regional recruitment strategy and manage recruitment resources.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR generalist or business partner with strong consultative skills.
• Ability to understand business objectives and translate them into HR solutions.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities across multiple levels.
• Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, and diversity & inclusion.
• Knowledge of HR legal and regulatory requirements in the LATAM region.
