About the role
Metso is seeking a Logistics Assistant Manager for its Consumables business area in the SAM region. Based in Concón, Chile, you will be responsible for overseeing the country’s logistics operations, ensuring that shipments align with production output and customer requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee shipment scheduling and dispatching once goods are ready.
- Drive process optimisation across logistics activities.
- Manage high‑complexity transportation networks, including heavy, oversized and specialised loads.
- Ensure reliable delivery performance for all customer segments.
- Report directly to the Head of SAM Region Logistics.
Required profile
- Proven experience in logistics management within a national context.
- Ability to drive process optimisation and manage complex transportation networks.
- Strong focus on delivery reliability and alignment with production schedules.
