Marketing and Events Manager (Santiago, Dominican Republic)

About the role

The company is seeking a Marketing and Events Manager to lead the planning, execution and supervision of its marketing strategies and events in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The role combines brand positioning, digital marketing and event coordination to support commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor the company’s marketing plan aligned with brand identity and sales goals.
• Design, coordinate and evaluate advertising, promotional and internal communication campaigns from concept to results.
• Create and approve marketing and promotional materials while ensuring brand guidelines are followed.
• Manage corporate social media platforms and generate targeted content.
• Plan and coordinate events, sponsorships, promotions and merchandising activities with internal teams and external providers.
• Supervise agency‑produced campaigns and oversee market research, competitor analysis and ROI reporting.
• Prepare and control the marketing budget, procure materials and services, and support the General Manager in brand‑growth initiatives.
• Lead, evaluate and develop the marketing team to meet departmental objectives.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing coordination.
• General knowledge of digital marketing, brand positioning, advertising and sales strategies.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Leadership, proactivity, analytical and strategic thinking.
• Willingness to travel to other provinces and preferably own a vehicle.

What we offer

• Salary range $50,000 – $60,000 plus commissions for client prospecting.
• Incentives for event supervision and client acquisition.
• Travel expense reimbursement when required.
• Standard working hours: Mon‑Fri 8:30 AM‑5:30 PM, Sat 9:00 AM‑1:00 PM.
