O&M Manager – BESS / Solar PV

About the role

Huawei Technologies is seeking an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager to lead the O&M activities for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and Solar PV plants. The role ensures optimal performance, availability, and safety of renewable energy installations while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate O&M activities for BESS and Solar PV plants.
• Monitor plant performance, KPIs, and SLAs, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage Service Request (SR) tickets and ensure timely resolution.
• Supervise on‑site inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and system optimisation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Conduct regular site audits and performance assessments.
• Prepare and review O&M reports, incident reports, performance analyses, and service documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions as the primary technical escalation point.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and local regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers to guarantee high service quality.

Required profile

• Intermediate–Advanced English proficiency (mandatory).
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in O&M of power plants, renewable energy, or similar roles.
• Solid knowledge of BESS and/or Solar PV systems, especially operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience monitoring plant performance and managing SLAs/KPIs.
• Strong project and time‑management abilities.
• Experience working directly with clients and managing service expectations.
