Paediatric Staff Nurse – Ambulatory Care (Part‑time)

About the role

This part‑time position provides assessment, treatment and ongoing care for children in an ambulatory setting, operating Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00. The role requires a holistic, family‑centred approach to support children and their families throughout the care pathway.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care to paediatric patients in an ambulatory environment.
• Conduct assessments, implement treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to evidence‑based practice.
• Uphold health and safety standards, including membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.

Required profile

• Recognised clinical nursing qualification (registered nurse).
• Current Flying Start registration following qualification.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence‑based practice.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
