About the role

CAES Academy is seeking a full‑time Professor of Interior Design to deliver in‑person classes to adult learners in Santo Domingo. You will follow the academy’s curriculum while adapting lessons to meet student needs and industry trends.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver classroom sessions on interior design theory and practice.
• Prepare teaching materials, case studies, and practical examples.
• Facilitate both manual and digital design exercises to develop creativity and technical judgment.
• Assess projects, assignments, and portfolio work, providing continuous feedback.
• Collaborate with academic staff to keep course content current with market developments.

Required profile

• Formal education in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching, tutoring or conducting workshops in design or artistic disciplines.
• Strong pedagogical abilities, clear communication, and capacity to motivate diverse learners.
• Team‑oriented mindset with respect for diversity and a focus on student learning.
• Availability to teach according to the academy’s schedule.
