Program Manager – Environmental Health & Safety (Bilingual English/Spanish)

About the role

Google is seeking a Program Manager to lead and coordinate Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives across its global operations. The role involves managing complex, multi‑disciplinary projects, aligning stakeholders, and delivering business, operational, and technical improvements in the EHS domain.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, organize, and lead program activities and stakeholders to achieve EHS improvements.
• Scope, phase, and manage ambiguous cross‑functional challenges, ensuring executive alignment.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, risk registers, and communication plans.
• Collaborate with global teams, including data‑center and Google Cloud groups, across time zones.
• Ensure compliance with international environmental regulations and internal EHS policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience with data‑center environments, mission‑critical design concepts, and international environmental regulations.
• Proven ability to analyze, develop, and implement EHS policies.
• Fluent communication in English and Spanish.
• Registered in the Registro Nacional de Expertos en Prevención de Riesgos as Experto Profesional or Experto Técnico with a valid credential.
