Project Manager – Construction Projects (Chile)

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale physical network infrastructure projects in Chile, focusing on data centre and fiber deployments. The role oversees the full project lifecycle from design through construction to operational hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver complex infrastructure projects on schedule and budget.
• Coordinate internal and external teams including engineering, construction, procurement and stakeholders.
• Manage project schedules, risks and issues, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.
• Engage with local authorities to obtain permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, providing clear communication across technical and executive levels.

Required profile

• 7‑9 years of technical project or programme management experience.
• Proven background in telecommunications, fiber deployment (OSP/ISP), backbone networks or data‑centre network infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with physical network builds, including fiber routing, redundancy, installation and testing.
• Experience managing multi‑site or multi‑region deployments and capacity planning.
• PMP or other recognised project‑management certification is highly valuable.
