Registered Nurse - Endocrinology

About the role

Join a multidisciplinary team at NHS Lanarkshire as a Registered Nurse specialising in Endocrinology. You will be responsible for assessing patient care needs, developing and evaluating care programmes, and delivering high‑quality nursing care on a fixed‑term basis.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and create individual care plans.
• Implement, monitor and evaluate care programmes to ensure high standards.
• Provide direct patient care without direct supervision.
• Demonstrate and supervise procedures for registered, unregistered staff and student nurses.
• Cover senior charge nurse or team leader duties when required to maintain ward operations.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
• Strong team‑working ability and capacity to work independently.
• Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
