Registered Nurse – Infusion Center (Outpatient)

About the role

The Wilmot Cancer Institute is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join the Infusion Center at Highland Hospital. This outpatient unit provides chemotherapy and other IV infusions for oncology and non‑oncology patients. The position offers a fast‑paced environment where attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established clinical standards.
• Administer chemotherapy and other IV infusions safely and accurately.
• Contribute to unit activities, quality improvement, and support the care delivery system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, acting as a charge nurse, preceptor, or committee member as needed.
• Maintain a full‑time schedule of 40 hours, Monday‑Friday daytime shifts.

Required profile

• Current RN licensure and eligibility to practice in New York.
• Experience in infusion or oncology nursing preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing responsibilities.
• Strong collaborative skills and commitment to patient safety.
