Registered Nurse – Orthopaedic Outpatients

About the role

The NHS Lanarkshire team is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Orthopaedic Outpatients service. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan and deliver high‑quality care to patients with orthopaedic needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and develop individual care programmes.
• Implement, monitor and evaluate care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise and demonstrate procedures to junior staff and student nurses as required.
• Adhere to national and local policies, legislation and clinical standards.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration.
• Strong team‑working ability and initiative.
• Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
