Restaurant Host / Captain – Luxury Eco‑Lodge

About the role
Awasi is seeking a friendly and organized Host (also referred to as Captain) to join the front‑of‑house team at its carbon‑neutral luxury lodge in San Pedro de Atacama. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience in a unique natural setting.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests, manage reservations and seating arrangements.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain a clean and inviting dining area, adhering to high hospitality standards.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and courteously.
- Support special events and private dining experiences as needed.
Required profile
- Previous experience in hotels or restaurants of comparable standards.
- Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond for guests.
- Chilean residency and readiness to live in San Pedro de Atacama.
