Rotational Pharmacy Support Worker – NHS Fife

About the role

This entry‑level position offers a unique opportunity to experience pharmacy operations across multiple hospital sites in Fife. You will receive full training and support while working in the Pharmacy Stores, helping to ensure the safe and efficient supply of medicines.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble medicine orders and over‑label medicines.
• Receive goods from suppliers and maintain store stock levels.
• Prepare ward orders, perform ward top‑ups and manage reception duties.
• Answer telephone enquiries and complete computer‑based tasks.
• Physically handle medicines, including infusion boxes, and remain on your feet for most of the shift.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Flexible, hard‑working and able to work as part of a team.
• Available for variable shifts (08:00‑18:00, Monday‑Friday) and weekend/public‑holiday rota.
• Member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
