Sales Specialist – Drives & Electric Motors (Mining)

About the role

ABB is looking for a Sales Specialist to drive the sales of Drives and Electric Motors within the mining sector in Antofagasta. You will work in a hybrid model, combining on‑site customer interaction with remote support, to grow key accounts and develop new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand key accounts in the mining market for Drives and Electric Motors.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities aligned with the division’s strategy.
• Deliver effective marketing communication and convey ABB’s value proposition to customers.
• Coordinate delivery timelines, payment terms, and contractual conditions with customers.
• Handle administrative procedures throughout the sales cycle and support collection and project management activities when needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or commercial roles, preferably with Drives and Electric Motors.
• Mandatory familiarity with the mining industry.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel as required.
