Senior Clinical Pharmacist – Cancer Services (NHS Fife)

About the role

The Senior Clinical Pharmacist will join NHS Fife’s Cancer Services team, supporting the transformation of clinical pharmacy across hospital, primary care and specialist settings. You will lead a dedicated tumour specialty, develop protocols with the Edinburgh Cancer Centre and ensure safe, effective medication use for patients with cancer.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a specific tumour specialty, potentially establishing a dedicated clinic.
• Collaborate with the Edinburgh Cancer Centre to develop protocols and guidelines.
• Integrate pharmacy services across care transitions to optimise patient outcomes.
• Deliver new pharmacy services and drive continuous improvement.
• Work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide leadership and supervision to pharmacy staff.

Required profile

• Dynamic, enthusiastic professional with a proven track record of launching new services.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously and within a team.
• Excellent communicator with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Experience in a clinical pharmacy environment and staff management.
