Senior Network Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate hybrid cloud networking environments that connect on‑premise infrastructure with Google Cloud Platform. The role is fully remote and will run for six months, ending on 31 December 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain hybrid networking architectures linking on‑premise systems with GCP.
• Manage GCP networking components such as VPCs, VPNs, Interconnect, load balancers, and firewall policies.
• Troubleshoot complex routing, DNS, load‑balancing, and connectivity issues.
• Build and automate networking infrastructure using Terraform.
• Define secure network segmentation and firewall strategies.
• Improve network reliability, observability, and operational efficiency.
• Automate routine networking tasks through scripting and IaC.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Google Cloud networking services.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP routing, DNS, and load balancing.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Solid troubleshooting skills across multi‑layer network environments.
• Understanding of network security principles.
