Senior SAP FICO Lead Consultant – Santiago, Chile

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SAP FICO Lead Consultant to join Infosys in Santiago, Chile. The role focuses on delivering L2/L3 support for SAP Finance modules in AMS environments, driving process optimisation and incident resolution for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 SAP FICO support in AMS settings, handling incidents, root‑cause analysis and enhancements.
• Support and optimise end‑to‑end Record‑to‑Report (R2R) processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and Financial Close & Reporting.
• Troubleshoot production issues while meeting SLA commitments and minimising business impact.
• Collaborate with global teams to resolve incidents and promote continuous improvement.
• Assist with testing activities (SIT/UAT), deployments and month‑end close stabilisation.
• Prepare functional specifications and maintain up‑to‑date process documentation.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP FI/CO and MM/SD modules.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO, covering both ECC and S/4HANA.
• Strong background in AMS support and incident‑driven environments.
• Proven expertise in R2R finance processes and financial process optimisation.
• Fluent English (mandatory) and ability to work in multicultural, global teams.

Required skills

• SAP FI/CO (ECC & S/4HANA) – GL, AP, AR, AA, Financial Closing & Reporting.
• Integration knowledge with MM (P2P) and SD (O2C) modules.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA.
• IDOCs, interfaces and system integrations.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori (preferred).
