About the role
An exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department and New Victoria Minor Injuries Unit at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The role involves delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care in a fast‑paced environment while supporting major trauma services.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care in a busy Emergency Department and Minor Injuries Unit.
- Support Major Trauma and emergency care services, meeting performance targets and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, demonstrating leadership, prioritisation and effective communication.
- Participate in service development and quality‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Registered Nurse qualification.
- Significant experience working in an Emergency Department, preferably at Band 5 level.
- Knowledge of ED processes, patient pathways and major trauma care.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and organisational abilities.
- Commitment to patient‑centred care and ongoing professional development.
