About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead Oracle's consulting services sales initiatives, focusing on identifying and nurturing new market opportunities. This position is aimed primarily at women and involves close collaboration with sales, consulting, and other internal teams to craft compelling proposals and close deals.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and present business proposals, economic scenarios, and case studies for consulting services.
  • Coordinate with the consulting team and other Oracle departments to develop mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Negotiate contractual terms and manage stakeholder communications throughout the sales cycle.
  • Investigate new market opportunities, organize business meetings with potential clients, and produce sales forecasts aligned with budget targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, revenue, invoices, and related documentation.
  • Design complex business solutions using Oracle products and technology, influencing customer decisions and ensuring high‑quality delivery.
  • Identify project risks, suggest mitigation strategies, and transition deal knowledge to implementation teams.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in business development or consulting sales, preferably at a senior (IC4) level.
  • Strong business acumen and judgment to evaluate opportunities and design solutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally across sales, consulting, and internal approval processes.

Required skills

  • Knowledge of Oracle products and technology platforms.
