Country Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Country Manager to lead our Santiago office. This full‑time, on‑site position will be responsible for driving the company’s growth in Chile by shaping and executing strategic plans that align with our international trade objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure achievement of business targets in the region.
• Develop and implement market expansion strategies to capture new opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners and clients.
• Lead, coach and motivate a local team to deliver high performance.
• Monitor performance metrics, compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Represent the organization at industry events and conferences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business strategy, team leadership and operational management.
• Deep understanding of international trade, procurement and supply‑chain processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages such as Mandarin or Swedish are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade or a related field; advanced degrees are advantageous.
• Familiarity with the Latin American market and its regulatory environment.
