Cybersecurity Engineer – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

AudienceView is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer on a 6‑month contract to strengthen the security posture of its live‑events software platform. You will work closely with engineering and compliance teams to protect data, ensure PCI DSS compliance, and respond to security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct cybersecurity maturity assessments and create improvement plans aligned with business goals.
• Identify, assess, and manage information‑security risks across cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Support and maintain the PCI DSS compliance program, including scoping, gap assessments, evidence collection, and audit coordination.
• Perform application security assessments and secure code reviews for the software portfolio.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security events; provide flexible coverage for incident response.
• Execute vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and design security controls, policies, and procedures.
• Review system architectures, network configurations, and deployments to ensure PCI DSS requirements are met.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security and compliance into the SDLC.
• Investigate and triage alerts, conduct root‑cause analysis, and document findings for operational and compliance reporting.

Required profile

• Passionate about cybersecurity, threat hunting, and continuous improvement.
• Strong communicator able to explain complex security topics to technical and non‑technical stakeholders, including auditors.
• Collaborative mindset with experience mentoring peers and fostering a security‑first culture.
