OpenShift Technical Account Manager

About the role

The Red Hat Services team is seeking an experienced System Administrator Engineer to join as an OpenShift Technical Account Manager (TAM). In this position you will act as the trusted advisor for enterprise customers, guiding adoption, implementation, and best‑practice usage of Red Hat OpenShift and related infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support enterprise customers in implementing automated, containerized cloud application platforms.
• Provide proactive technical health reviews, recommendations, and guidance aligned with customer business goals.
• Coordinate with Red Hat engineering, product, and support teams to resolve high‑severity incidents and communicate service impacts.
• Monitor adoption trends, contribute to quarterly success reviews, and help customers achieve desired outcomes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key business and IT stakeholders, attaining Trusted Advisor status.

Required profile

• Strong background as a system administrator or engineer with experience in enterprise environments.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies such as container orchestration, registries, and micro‑service architectures.
• Excellent communication skills to act as an advocate for customers within Red Hat.
