HR Generalist – LATAM (Part-Time)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive HR Generalist to support our Spanish‑speaking operations across Chile, Mexico and Colombia. This part‑time, remote position (three days a week) will report directly to the Director of Global HR in Canada and may involve occasional travel within the region.

Key responsibilities

• Advise managers on statutory and regulatory HR matters, including compensation, benefits, recruitment, selection and performance management.
• Manage local legal aspects such as staff representatives, company agreements, litigation and legal advice.
• Oversee outsourced payroll and ensure accurate legal and social declarations.
• Support the full recruitment cycle: approvals, candidate screening, onboarding, and new‑hire data entry.
• Administer benefits enrollment, termination, claims resolution and communication.
• Maintain local employee records in the HRIS, conduct regular data audits and support global HRIS reporting.
• Assist with annual compensation reviews, executive‑team administrative services and global HR initiatives.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with managers and employees.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and capable of working independently.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English and Spanish.

• Experience managing an HRIS, preferably BambooHR.
