Junior Research Analyst – Customer Service Issue Management

About the role

As a Junior Research Analyst you will support NielsenIQ’s Customer Service Issue Management team, ensuring clients receive accurate and timely information about data quality, methodological changes, and coverage updates. You will build trust with customers by communicating insights, identifying potential quality issues, and promoting the use of NielsenIQ’s technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain continuous communication with clients regarding data changes and methodological explanations.
• Conduct coverage analysis, interpret results, and present findings to clients.
• Manage client inquiries: filter, register, monitor, review, and communicate responses.
• Oversee client order management for feasibility studies, ensuring proper tracking and follow‑up.
• Provide training to clients on NielsenIQ methodologies and variable calculations.
• Promote adoption of NielsenIQ technology tools among client teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Actuarial Science or a related field.
• Interest or experience in market research, retail, or consumer‑goods sectors, including internships or practicum projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with numerical aptitude.
• Effective communication, creativity, organization, and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Customer‑focused attitude and willingness to build strong client relationships.
