Procurement & Vendor Strategy Consultant (Part-Time)

About the role

This part‑time, remote consultancy helps a fast‑growing technology‑focused organization in Chile maximize the value of its technology spend. You will work directly with executive stakeholders to improve vendor relationships, negotiate better commercial terms, and uncover cost‑saving opportunities across SaaS, cloud and digital services.

Key responsibilities

• Review SaaS, cloud infrastructure, software, data, advertising technology and service‑provider contracts to identify optimization opportunities.
• Lead commercial negotiations to improve pricing, contract terms, service levels and overall value.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities, eliminate redundancies and improve technology‑spend efficiency.
• Research alternative vendors and platforms to strengthen negotiation leverage.
• Develop vendor‑consolidation strategies across multiple business units and acquired companies.
• Partner with leadership to align procurement priorities with business needs.
• Analyze software usage, subscriptions and vendor commitments to uncover savings.
• Support procurement for new initiatives, product launches and acquisitions, including post‑acquisition integration.
• Create visibility into renewals, pricing structures and procurement performance metrics.
• Prepare recommendations, business cases and executive‑level insights; track and report realized savings.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience negotiating SaaS, software, cloud infrastructure or digital services agreements.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings through vendor negotiations.
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical ability and experience working with technology vendors in dynamic environments.
