Senior Accountant – Hospitality Industry

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking a versatile Senior Accountant to support its fast‑growing portfolio of hospitality clients. The role is client‑facing and focuses on delivering accurate financial reporting, timely month‑end closes, and strong internal controls across multiple properties.

Key responsibilities

• Drive month‑end and year‑end close processes, preparing P&L and Balance Sheet statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Streamline balance‑sheet reconciliation and manage increasing volume as new clients are onboarded.
• Handle journal entries, financial reporting, and account reconciliations for multiple properties or client accounts.
• Integrate hospitality and accounting platforms to process daily financial data and improve workflow efficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls and enhance client service.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, property accounting, or outsourced accounting services.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and full‑cycle reconciliations.
• Self‑starter with high accountability, able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
