Accountant – US GAAP & QBO for Hospitality Clients

About the role

We are seeking a sharp, reliable Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of hospitality clients, including hotels and restaurants, under US GAAP standards. The role is fully remote and offers high ownership, allowing you to work independently while delivering accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Own full-cycle accounting for multiple hospitality clients, including general ledger management, month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Coordinate directly with clients to gather information, clarify transactions and communicate results.
• Identify discrepancies, process gaps or improvement opportunities and proactively address them.
• Adapt quickly to evolving client needs across diverse hospitality operations.

Required profile

• 3+ years of accounting experience with full-cycle close ownership.
• Solid working knowledge of US GAAP applied consistently.
• Experience serving US-based or US-facing clients.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Self-directed, organized and able to work without micromanagement.
