Senior Accountant – Hospitality Industry

About the role

Howard Financial is looking for a proactive Senior Accountant to support its fast‑growing portfolio of hospitality clients. You will own the month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensure accurate financial reporting under US GAAP, and provide high‑quality service to multiple properties.

Key responsibilities

• Drive month‑end and year‑end close, preparing P&L and Balance Sheet statements on schedule.
• Streamline balance‑sheet reconciliations as client volume increases.
• Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple properties or client accounts.
• Integrate hospitality and accounting platforms to process daily financial data efficiently.
• Identify and implement workflow improvements to strengthen internal controls and enhance client service.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, property accounting, or outsourced accounting services.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and full‑cycle accounting.
• Self‑starter with high accountability, able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
