Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Financial Services

About the role

The Executive Director (CEO) will lead the day‑to‑day management of a financial services company in Chile, driving the execution of its strategic plan while ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and financial sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the company in executing its strategic plan, aligning with vision, values and regulatory obligations.
• Oversee daily operations across finance, compliance, risk, technology, client servicing and human resources.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, including CMF requirements and corporate governance standards.
• Represent the firm in regulatory, legal and stakeholder engagements, building strong relationships with authorities, investors and clients.
• Develop and monitor internal control, compliance and risk‑management systems to protect client and company interests.
• Drive financial performance, operational efficiency, profitability and growth while meeting revenue targets.
• Foster a high‑performance culture, set performance expectations and develop talent within the executive team.
• Identify new business opportunities, products and services to expand the firm’s market presence.
• Oversee technology infrastructure, ensuring cybersecurity standards and protection of client data.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, economics, business, law or a related field (MBA or similar postgraduate qualification is a plus).
• At least 5 years of experience in financial markets, preferably in retail financial services or brokerage/intermediation in Chile.
• Strong working knowledge of Chilean financial services/securities regulations and CMF fit‑and‑proper requirements.
• Proven experience managing cross‑functional teams, developing business strategies and navigating complex regulatory environments.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and a track record of delivering results at senior executive level.
